Hi Smitty – Hope all is well.  I had the pickup installed and took the opportunity to remove the tone and move the volume down, push/pull serial/parallel with the Crunch Lab at the bridge. Installed and the Mini Humbucker is absolutely Amazing!  Lots of definition but warm and just plain excellent.  The strat pickup now sounds…well like a nice single coil!  And much better balance with the little 59 for sure!  The tech was amazed at the mini humbucker and will likely contact you shortly.  I now have more incentive to practice for sure!

Smitty!!  You are the man!!  I installed the HUM III and it’s EXACTLY what I was hoping it would be!!!  You nailed it!  As I mentioned, the purpose of this pickup was more about putting a bigger gap between the bridge pickup (Screamin’ Demon) that had been in this guitar (Strat) and the pickup in my Tele, than it was about simply improving the tone from the Screamin’ Demon that the Hum III was replacing….

I’ve installed them (S/S/H) and I’m just STUNNED!  Especially compared the ones I pulled out, these are so much warmer. They have a nice chime to them – just have to raise the single coils a bit & adjust height.
