Smitty!!  You are the man!!  I installed the HUM III and it’s EXACTLY what I was hoping it would be!!!  You nailed it!  As I mentioned, the purpose of this pickup was more about putting a bigger gap between the bridge pickup (Screamin’ Demon) that had been in this guitar (Strat) and the pickup in my Tele, than it was about simply improving the tone from the Screamin’ Demon that the Hum III was replacing.  I liked the tone of the Screamin’ Demon in the Strat, and although it certainly didn’t sound exactly like the Tele, it was fairly close. So I wanted a pickup that would be just a bit fatter and more powerful than the Screamin’ Demon.  Again, so I could hear a bigger difference between my Strat and the Tele.

And because of that, it makes it really easy to assess this pickup. I simply plug in the Tele and play it for a few minutes, and then I plug in the Strat with your Hum III and play that.  It’s virtually a side by side comparison.  The HUM III you made me is exactly what I wanted.  When I go to the Strat now from the Tele, the Strat is definitely fatter and a little more powerful than it was with the Screamin’ Demon.  Perfect!
