Hello MJS!  I wanted to confirm that I’ve received the pups as ordered.  They looked exactly as I hoped and I was giddy like a 12 year old as I was unboxing them.  The neck clocked in at 7.4k and the bridge at 17.6k. 

I managed to install them in my LTD this evening and did a quick test drive on them.  They sound really awesome!  The neck has that gritty blues / rock sound that impressed me.  I must admit I wasn’t sure that 7-7.5k would be enough, but I’m glad I trusted your experience.  You did not steer me wrong!  The bridge is hot, and had the same definition through lows and highs and keep their tone through high and low gain.  Even my dad, who is in no way musically inclined and has tinnitus, could very easily make out the difference in the quality of the sound.  Which is not something you’d think of, but the quality of the sound is a huge difference.
