Hi Smitty -Thanks again for your help and hospitality last Friday.  I used the guitar on the weekend gig – big outdoor end of summer event – heavy dance/pop music…the guitar worked great!!  The pickup is much more usable to me than the original, and I like how it takes the tone control – gives me enough variety from the slow ballads to the funky stuff. Very pleased!  I’m thinking now to upgrade my Tele or look for a semi hollow for variety…will be in touch.
